ROLE- Mechanical Development Engineer LOCATION- South Oxfordshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £32,000- £42,000 per annum plus benefits (dependent on experience)

The Mechanical Development Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree qualified or the equivalent in Mechanical Engineering such as HND/ HND/ NVQ 2 years’ or more experience working in a similar hands on Mechanical Design / Development / Manufacturing position within an engineering manufacturing environment Proficiency with using 3D CAD; ideally SolidWorks but other software will be considered Have the ability to select the correct engineering components and materials Experience of DFM Previous experience of working with machine assemblies, test rigs or precision tooling would be desirable Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
