In this role, the Mechanical Draughtsperson / Design Engineer will be responsible for producing accurate engineering CAD drawings, creating parts and bill of materials on the ERP system, and collaborating with internal teams to produce bespoke designs.
The role would suit a mechanical draughtsperson or design engineer with a background in manufacturing. You should hold a relevant engineering qualification (HNC or above) and have proven 2D and 3D design experience.

The Role:
Produce accurate, high-quality drawings for hydro systems
Create parts and Bills of Material (BOMs) on the ERP system
Develop new designs and ensures timely project delivery within budget
Collaborate with other teams to produce bespoke project designs
Provide support to the sales team by generating 2D and 3D layout drawings
The Person:
Mechanical Draughtsperson / Design Engineer
Experience of 2D and 3D design
CAD / Solidworks experience
Experience within a manufacturing background
Experience completing designs for heavy machinery is a bonus
