OverviewJoin a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Senior Engineer Auxiliary Systems in Scotstoun, Glasgow on a hybrid basis. This is an initial 12 months contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects within a leading manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform appropriate engineering planning and manage all technical outputs allocated to systems within their responsibility to progress the tasks identified in the program plan and ensure delivery within agreed requirements for cost, quality, time and schedule.Ensure the quality of outputs in the area of responsibility is to the required level, while providing technical oversight of deliverables.QualificationsDegree qualified in a Marine Engineering related discipline.Experience in Mechanical Systems for marine applications.Experience in the design, build, integration, support and operation of Naval ships.Knowledge and experience of shipbuilding, Operations processes and modern build strategies or other related industries.Role detailsThis is an exciting opportunity to work for a global business that has developed a strategy of working closely with its contingent workforce.
