To provide Mechanical Engineering support to the Power & Propulsion Systems Team engaged in the functional design of the latest Naval Ships.
Contribute to mechanical elements of the design of the design of the River Class Destroyer Power and Propulsion systems.
Including:
- Propulsion Motors - Diesel Generators - Gas Turbine - Propulsion Gearbox - Shaftline - Steering gear and Stabilisers
Provide suppport to the team in order to assess technical compliance, integration and review of design documentation for the ship's propulsion motors procurement pack.
