You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team that values every individual’s contribution.\n\n What you’ll be doing\n As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in a wide variety of projects from concept through to completion.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver low-energy, future-ready buildings.\n\n Key responsibilities include:\n\nDeveloping mechanical design solutions across multiple sectors\nProducing technical calculations, drawings and specifications\nApplying sustainable and low-carbon design principles\nCoordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders\nSelecting systems, equipment and plant appropriate to each project\nEnsuring work is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality\nSupporting on-site installations to ensure compliance with design intent\nParticipating in client meetings and design workshops\nKeeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry developments\nContributing to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture\nWhat you’ll bring\n\nA degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering\nMinimum of one year’s experience in mechanical Building Services design\nExperience with relevant software such as Revit, IES, Hevacomp, etc\nSolid understanding of British and European Standards and UK Building Regulations\nAwareness of BREEAM and experience with low and zero carbon technologies\nMembership or working towards membership of a professional body such as CIBSE or IET\nClear communication skills and a collaborative working style\nBasic understanding of electrical engineering would be an advantage\nWhy apply\n This company offers a rewarding and balanced working environment where you will be supported to grow, develop and make a meaningful impact.
