Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance to meet contractual requirements. Maintain all assets in line with O&M manuals, industry standards, and best practice. Manage and supervise contractors, ensuring statutory compliance at all times. Respond to reactive works via a CAFM system, ensuring timely completion within SLAs. Maintain building fabric elements and carry out reactive repairs within agreed timescales. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, including fire regulations, COSHH, PPE, and safe working practices. Keep plant rooms, service areas, and enclosures clean, safe, and secure. Support colleagues across the team and undertake ad-hoc duties when required. Join the on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks on average), with standby allowance and paid callouts. Candidate Profile:
Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ qualification in a mechanical discipline. Working knowledge of air handling units and building services systems. Skilled in fault-finding, maintenance, and installations. Flexible, adaptable, and physically fit, with the ability to carry tools/equipment up to 20kg and work at height (including MEWP). Strong IT skills with the ability to update records via PDA/CAFM systems. Excellent customer service skills and professional presentation. Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory building compliance. Full UK driving licence required. Working Hours:
