Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace Sector | Tewkesbury (Onsite)

A leading engineering firm in the aerospace sector is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their friendly and collaborative team at a cutting-edge facility in Tewkesbury.

This is a hands-on role involving the assembly, testing, and diagnostic evaluation of precision-engineered products. What you’ll be doing:

• Assembling and testing mechanical components to high standards
• Performing diagnostic tests and rework procedures
• Conducting flow matching, wire locking, labelling, and finishing tasks
• Working from approved documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring quality through self-inspection and final inspection readiness

What you’ll need:

• Experience in a production environment (preferably aerospace or similar)
• Skilled in using hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with servo valve operations (desirable)
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain documentation
• Understanding of 5S principles (training provided if needed)
• Eligibility to pass an eye test
