Job Duties: Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components Conducting research to gather information on mechanical engineering projects Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success Creating technical drawings using CAD software Performing quality control checks on mechanical systems Providing technical support and guidance to production teams Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Professional certification as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering Experience in designing and testing mechanical systems Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Solidworks CAD software and other engineering tools (Mathcad) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of industry standards and regulations Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Previous experience in the manufacturing and production industry Working Conditions: Work primarily in an office or laboratory setting May be required to travel to project sites occasionally Full-time hours with occasional overtime may be necessary
