Mechanical Engineer – £40,000 – Kensington
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Facilities Management (FM) client, a leading specialist in the education sector, for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Kensington.
Salary: £40,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Kensington, London Start Date: ASAP DBS: Enhanced DBS check required
The Role: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of education sector sites. You will ensure all works are completed to a high standard, in compliance with health and safety regulations and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and servicing of building services equipment
*
Responding to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
*
Conducting routine inspections and testing of mechanical systems
*
Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and client-specific procedures
*
Providing technical support and liaising with site staff and FM teams
Requirements:
*
Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
*
Previous experience in a similar FM or building services role
*
