Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Days!Salary: £47,000 per annum to be increased to £51,980.08 after joining the call out system of 1 in 6. Location: Thurrock , Essex Representing a leading client in the food manufacturing sector I’m currently working with a well-established client in the food production industry who is looking to bring a skilled  Maintenance Engineer  into their team at a busy flour mill. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced engineering department, where your expertise will help ensure the smooth and safe running of the plant. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance across the site. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance tasks in line with health, safety and quality standards. Support plant improvements and collaborate across departments. Monitor and liaise with external contractors on site. Conduct regular inspections and audits. Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and stoppages. Use the Maximo system to log work and manage maintenance schedules.
