OverviewMulti-Skilled Mechanical Engineer – DarlingtonWe’re looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities & Building Services team. In this role, you’ll carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a wide range of building systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.What You\'ll DoPerform routine inspections, diagnose potential issues, and complete necessary repairs.Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Review work orders, estimate time and materials required, and track progress to completion.Support energy management initiatives by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.Inspect new and existing installations for compliance with safety regulations and building codes, reporting any concerns.Follow established procedures and processes, while contributing to the overall reliability of site operations.What You\'ll BringHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school qualification (or equivalent experience).12 years of relevant technical or facilities maintenance experience.Physical capability to meet role requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and extended periods of walking/standing.Basic computer literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong organizational skills and an eagerness to learn.Good communication skills to share straightforward information effectively.Why Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment where safety, efficiency, and professional development are valued.
