We've got a brilliant opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work within an iconic, flagship site based in Canary Wharf. This is a static position, following a split shift system (7am - 4pm and 10am - 7pm).

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, actively fault find / troubleshoot, liaise with subcontractors, respond to emergencies, maintain a client facing attitude and represent the client in a positive manner.

Mechanical Engineer Duties:

PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance AHUs FCUs Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals Sprinkler Systems Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc). Tap Temperatures Chilled Water Systems Plumbing Generators Pressurisation units BMS Operation Mechanical Engineer Requirements: Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ (or equivalent) Apprentice trained - desirable Building Services Maintenance experience Very Client facing

Salary and Package:

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm and 10am - 7pm 15% pension scheme Private health and dental care Other package benefits Flagship, iconic site
