Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Derby Job Type: Contract Salary: £24-26 per hour Working Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team, working on a full-time basis. This role focuses on ensuring the continued operation and compliance of mechanical systems within a commercial or industrial environment. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a range of systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all plant and equipment to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.

Maintain domestic water systems in line with L8 (Legionella) standards, including regular water flushing and temperature checks.

Identify and swiftly remedy plant faults and defects to ensure continuous operation.
