Location: Leeds Salary: £34,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for an opportunity in a Global Manufacturer? Key Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with company health and safety policies at all times. Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment. Work with mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, drives, belts, pumps, and gearboxes. Fault find, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Support the installation of new equipment and continuous improvement projects. Complete accurate maintenance records, ensuring all procedures are followed. Provide emergency mechanical assistance when required. Collaborate with colleagues across engineering and production to achieve targets. About You Proven background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and fault-finding techniques. Time-served apprenticeship or relevant mechanical engineering qualifications. Familiarity with servo drives (desirable but not essential). Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail. Team player with the flexibility to adapt to operational needs.
