There will also be some supervisory duties in this position.Role detailsPermanentSalary up to £44k + overtime, sick pay, pension & other benefits.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out the inspection and fault analysis, on all types of pumps, pumping systems, pipe work and associated equipmentSourcing componentsCompleting repairsTesting repaired itemsDeveloping test equipment and proceduresPreparing fault / repair reportsLiaising with suppliersLiaising with customer for fault identificationProducing recommendations for replacement with new itemMaintaining test kit, tools and workshopPresentation of returned items to desired standardsPresenting a tidy workshop and workspaceWorking within the Deritend QA workshop procedures, method statements and risk assessmentsSkills and ExperienceAn experienced electro/mechanical or pump engineerUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical repair techniquesKnowledge of a broad range of test equipmentExcellent communication skillsTeam playerBasic mechanical aptitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
