Job Title: Mechanical / HVAC Engineer - Facilities

Location: Ashford, Surrey/Middlesex

Package: £46,000 + Overtime + AP/CP training

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

About the Role:

I am seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to join my client’s team, covering a commercial building based in Ashford/Twickenham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a dynamic and well-established company, with scope to develop and learn further building services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on mechanical & HVAC systems.

* Carry out Mechanical PPM and repair tasks relating to pumps, AHU’s, FCU’s, calorifiers & more.

* Assist with occasional maintenance and repairs on fire alarms, emergency lighting, and further statutory electrical systems.

* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Participate in a 1 in 5 call-out rota to provide emergency support.

Requirements:

* NVQ (Practical & Theory) Level 3 equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing/Heating

* Proven experience in a similar building maintenance role.

* Strong knowledge of commercial building systems and regulations.

* Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
