An exciting opportunity to join an established FM building services company based in a commercial environment on a static basis in Saffron Walden, Essex. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber to be based in a commercial building in Saffron Walden, Essex. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in mechanical plumbing building maintenance. In return the company is offering a competitive salary up to £45,000.

Key Responsibilities

Repairing Toilets and Sinks
Unblocking Toilets
Water Treatment
Waste Water Treatment
Repairing pipework and leaks
Minor installation works
Flexible in helping other trades on site
Planned and reactive works
AHU's / FCU's filter changes
Boiler & Chiller checks
Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Testing
Pumps and Motors

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)

Call out – 1 in 4 or 5 - £100 stand by and minimum of 4 hours if called out

Requirements

City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineer / Plumbing Level 2
City and Guilds in Water Treatment - Desirable
City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems - Desirable
Demonstrate previous experience commercial plumbing
Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
