Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - £47.5k - Liverpool Street
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Liverpool Street, London Salary: £47,500 per annum + £100 Call Out Allowance Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00–16:00 and 10:00–19:00 (rotating shifts) On-Call: 1 in 3 (with £100 allowance per call out)
The Role: We are looking for a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Liverpool Street. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical systems, while supporting building services operations to ensure the site runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
\n Deliver planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across building systems.
\n

Diagnose, fault-find, and repair mechanical plant and equipment.
\n
\n
Carry out basic electrical/building services support as required.
\n
\n
Work as part of a small, professional team providing high-quality service.
\n
\n
Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks).
\n
\n
Requirements:
\n Fully qualified in mechanical engineering (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
\n
\n
Experience in mechanical building services or facilities maintenance.
\n
\n
Strong fault-finding skills and proactive problem solver.
\n
\n
Able to work independently as well as in a small team.
\n
\n
