Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Permanent Earlies (Mon–Fri, 6am–2pm)

Location: Oldham

Salary: £40,000 + Overtime (x1.5 Mon–Sat, x2 Sun)

Shifts: Monday-Friday (6am-2pm)

Holiday Days: 25 + 8 Bank Holidays

We’re a well-established, stable business with a strong track record of looking after our people. We’re looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a permanent early shift – Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

Keeping a large production plant running smoothly

Reacting quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime

Carrying out PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance)

Taking part in project work and continuous improvements

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production setting

Multi-skilled – mechanically biased but happy to work across disciplines

A team player who enjoys problem-solving and getting stuck in

Willingness to learn, upskill and take on training
