Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Days Only – £42,500 + OT

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a steady, long-term role with a great team environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established UK manufacturer supplying into the metals industry.

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support PPMs and reactive maintenance across our site. You’ll be working with conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics, chains, and rams, with workshop support for machining and fabrication. Electrical work is handled by contractors – this role is 100% mechanical.

Salary £42,500 (£20.45ph) + overtime Regular days shift pattern: • Monday: 6am–2pm • Tuesday–Thursday: 8am–4pm • Friday: 6am–2pm 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Pension scheme Overtime premiums (including paid minimums for callouts) Small, friendly, supportive team with excellent job security Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
