Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plant)

Avonmouth, Bristol,

£60,693.75 Salary (£22.50ph Base Rate First 42.5 Hours, 1.25x Following) + Company Van + Fuel Card + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

50 Hours per Week - Monday to Friday 06:00 to 16:30

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a leading processing company located in Avonmouth. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company who are offering a competitive package.

This role would suit an experienced mechanical engineer with experience working on mobile and static plant equipment.

Joining a small team, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance on recycling processing equipment and machinery including loading shovels, telehandlers, mini diggers etc. You will also be involved in ongoing project work.

This is a static role based at the company’s site in Avonmouth, however the company are also offering a work van that the successful candidate can use to bring tools to and from work.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role:

· Working on static and mobile plant

· Proactive maintenance – greasing machinery, gearboxes, belts etc.

· Working with telehandlers, loading shovels, mini diggers etc.

· Contracted 50 hours per week – hours worked after 42.5 hours paid at 1.25x

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Candidate:

· Experience working on static and mobile plant
