Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Cardiff Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + 15% Shift Allowance
CV Screen is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. The role is located just outside Cardiff and fantastic opportunities for training and development exist for the right candidate.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Respond to machine breakdowns Diagnose faults and carry out repairs Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment Maintain accurate maintenance records Work with production and engineering teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong fault-finding skills. Happy to work shifts
LOCATION
Cardiff - Commutable from nearby locations such as Caerphilly, Newport and Bridgend.
