The Client Our client is one of the UK's leading M&E Contractors. They provide building services across a wide range of sectors & are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their operational team on a major, new-build project in Northumberland. This is a largely site-based role on a major, new-build custodial project & should continue for around 2 years. The Role and its Responsibilities In the role of Senior Mechanical Project Engineer you will be responsible for the following; * Support of all technical aspects of the mechanical installation * Interpretation and adaptation of designs * Ensure a good working relationship alongside the Electrical Project Engineer * Reporting to the Operations Manager on works * Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and is as laid out in contracts * Regular attendance of meetings with the client and project teams * Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time * Management of the sub-contractors * Cost forecasting * Commissioning process * Client handover The Individual This role requires a confident, experienced Mechanical Project Engineer who can work in a sometimes-pressurised environment on a sizeable, multi-million pound project from 'cradle to grave'.
