Were looking for an experienced Mechanical Pump Engineer(Field Based) to join our esteemed, market-leading client, a specialist in pumping equipment solutions with over 60 years of industry expertise in the Orpington area!You'll work closely alongside a skilled Electrical Engineer to respond to breakdowns, perform servicing, and handle installation and commissioning of a wide range of pumping systems.This role is ideal for someone mechanically biased with hands-on experience in pumps, valves, pipework, water treatment, drainage, or utilities.This is aFull-Time, Permanentposition!What youll be doingCarry out mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning of equipment including pumps, valves, pipework, pumping stations, kiosks, etcTroubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to optimise performanceRespond to service calls and emergency breakdownsComplete detailed site reports and log progressEnsure health & safety compliance on all tasksProvide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally on-siteOperate and maintain a company van, stocked with tools and suppliesHoursMonday to Friday (Day Shifts) - 40 hours per week Flexibility required (no weekends)Pay£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Overtime available and paid at time 1/3 & time 1/2Skills/Experience RequiredEssential Hands-on experience with Pumps, Valves, Pipework or similarA valid UK driving licencePreferred Mechanical engineering qualificationsA background in Utility Maintenance, Water Treatment, Drainage etcCSCS, First Aid or Confined space trainingBenefitsCompany pension (after 3 years company fund employee contribution)Private healthcareCritical illness coverDeath in wish serviceOvertime availableTraining providedGrowing business with opportunities for progressionAll expenses coveredTools providedFree on-site parkingDay shifts - no weekendsFlexible workingEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be commutable to the Orpington area.What to do nextIf youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touch!Modus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.JBRP1_UKTJ
