Role Mechanical Service Engineer, Water Treatment
On-Site Maintenance: Conducting both preventative and corrective maintenance, including commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishments Technical Support: After-sales technical and commercial support to clients, and gathering feedback to assist in future product development Customer Focus: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering recommendations to enhance system reliability and productivity Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: Hands-on problem solving to keep systems running smoothly On-Call Flexibility: May include weekends and public holidays. As you grow in the role, join our On-Call Rota to provide support when clients need it most
Background Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate:
Experience: Previous experience as a Service Engineer or Service Technician in a mechanical environment. Experience in any sector is welcome, as full training will be provided. Qualifications: NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or similar, or working towards would be ideal but not essential. Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication skills and experience engaging with clients, offering solutions and handling challenging conversations. Time Management: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects effectively. Professionalism: A punctual, presentable individual who values customer satisfaction and strives to provide best-in-class service. Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
