This includes PPM of pumps, fan coils, AHUS (+ associated kit), other mechanical plant PPM and also plumbing related call outs. Given the inherent risks involved in this role, we require individuals who prioritize safety and adhere to precautionary measures. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience working with various mechanical devices and systems. Our overarching goal is to ensure the establishment and upkeep of reliable plant performance, reducing the likelihood of accidents and optimizing building service across all facilities. This is Shift role, 4 on 4 off pattern, days and nights and will involve responding to emergency call outs across all of the SITE once on Shift. Duties: - Emergency lighting testing - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning, other checks) - Chillers - reset and basic checks - Boilers- reset and basic checks (system pressure, water leaks, pumps, pressurization unit etc) - Calorifiers, element changes, basic checks etc - Compressors- reset/ checks - Monitor and minor repairs to mechanical plant - Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, leaks, taps replacement etc - Pumps, motors (maintenance & replacements) - Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner - Efficient with CAFM system (handheld device, tablet or phone) - Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them - Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required - Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues - Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client - Remain flexible with regard to site attendance (overtime) and undertake tasks within personal competency - Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters. - Escort specialist subcontractors Requirements - Mechanically qualified level 2 (3 desirable (C&G, NVQ etc)) - HVAC experience - Experience working in a large commercial buildings/ hospital - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential) - A proven track record in commercial building maintenance - Multi-skilled - Well versed with electronic devices - Good communication skills - Excellent customer skills - Team player - Driving license - Highly motivated and showing initiative
