Overview SEIMAF UK is seeking candidates in Bristol area with experience in lifting/handling or waste in a nuclear or other regulated industry. This role involves work on turbine hall crane and polar crane, supporting manufacturing, on-site commissioning, and safety-case activities for equipment associated with nuclear projects such as Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. Location Close to the HPC / Bristol / Gloucester areas are preferred. Responsibilities
Deliver manufacturing support for the new equipment and ensure compliance with British regulations and safety case validation during manufacture. Manage requests for change and non-conformances to maintain the intent of the baseline design and ensure proper rectification. On-site commissioning after installation to verify the operating system meets original requirements, including:
Verify commissioning documentation is to the correct standard with demonstrable linkage from original requirements through testing plans (golden-thread). Conduct sample reviews of documentation rather than 100% review. Approve commissioning non-conformances and oversee solutions to maintain design intent. Provide on-site support during commissioning to enable expedited responses.
On-site commissioning at HPC is planned for 2027. Provide safety-case support through the commissioning process and identify amendments required to complete the work.

Delivering manufacturing support for the new lifting equipment and ensuring compliance with applicable safety cases.
Scope – Waste
Engineers with experience in mechanical handling of waste materials are required.
Qualifications
Experience in lifting/handling or waste in a nuclear or other regulated industry. Minimum baseline security vetting. Knowledge of, or access to, EDF systems would be an advantage.
