OverviewSeeking an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Project Engineer (MEP). You will be based on-site in Somerset, overseeing MEP services with a strong background in your core discipline and proven contractor-side experience. This role is central to the project’s success, from installation through to commissioning and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise sections of the project team and supply chain partners.Act as a core member of the project delivery team.Apply technical expertise in MEPH systems, including cold and dry rooms.Oversee construction activities, including installation and commissioning.Collaborate with safety and environmental teams to ensure compliance with standards.Support the Commissioning Manager in achieving timely project completion and handover.Lead and support supervisors, assigning clear accountabilities.Project ManagementManage all aspects of MEP subcontractor works through to completion.Plan procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover in line with TCL procedures.Support commercial management of MEP contracts, including variations and valuations.Essential Skills & QualificationsStrong engineering knowledge across mechanical, electrical, BMS, and public health systems.Proficient in planning and MEP commissioning processes.Experience in engineering plant and equipment.ONC/HNC or Level 3/4 NVQ in Building Services Engineering.SMSTS (minimum 5-day) and appropriate CSCS skill card.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustries: Construction, Civil Engineering, and Engineering Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
