About the Role We’re seeking a skilled Metallurgical Engineer with a strong focus on steels and metallic materials to join a busy materials laboratory team in Peterborough. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll investigate, test, and improve metals and alloys used in advanced engineering applications.

You’ll play a key role in identifying defects, analysing failures, and recommending improvements to ensure materials are fit for purpose in demanding environments. Every day brings new challenges, from supporting manufacturing and design teams to refining testing processes and introducing new technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on projects across the UK and internationally.
