I’m currently representing a leading manufacturer of precision measuring equipment based in Coventry and they’re looking for a Metrologist / Calibration Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. Metrologist / Calibration EngineerKey Responsibilities Perform calibration of dimensional measuring instruments and reference standards to ensure accuracy
Follow UKAS requirements and the laboratory’s approved procedures for all calibration tasks
Keep accurate and detailed records and reports related to all calibration work
Assist in the continuous enhancement of laboratory procedures and contribute to quality assurance by ensuring all processes consistently meet required standards
Metrologist / Calibration EngineerEssential Experience Hold relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or have completed a suitable apprenticeship with solid experience in gauge inspection techniques.
Have a strong grasp of industry-specific terminology.
Demonstrate solid knowledge of dimensional metrology.
