Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent role
Location: Edinburgh & Surrounding Areas (EH, TD, KY Postcodes)
Salary: £28,548 – £45,000 per year (depending on qualifications and experience)

About the Role
Our client is hiring an experiencedMobile Air Conditioning Engineerto join their team, providing maintenance and repair services for high street retail and banking clients. This is a field-based role covering Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing various air conditioning systems including split AC, VRV/VRF, and heat pumps. Occasional refrigeration work (chilled cabinets, multidecks, ice machines) may also be required.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems
• Work with equipment from top manufacturers like Daikin, Mitsubishi, Midea, Toshiba, and LG
• Troubleshoot issues independently and liaise with manufacturers when needed
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately
• Adhere to Health & Safety and safe working procedures
• Participate in an on-call rota
• Perform physical tasks, including manual handling and working at heights or in confined spaces

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a similar role within building maintenance or facilities management
• FGAS & ODS regs certification (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and experience using handheld devices (PDA/tablet)
