Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Location/Region: This is a field based, mobile position covering the Gloucestershire and surrounding region.

Salary Range: £28,548 and up to £50,000, dependant upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

This role is working for high street retailers & banks clients for the TS-Mobile division.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment.
• Service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
• Work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines as required.
• Work across a variety of manufacturer plants (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, LG).
• Understand installation designs and bespoke manufacturer troubleshooting procedures; seek manufacturer technical support autonomously when needed.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time; keep logs of inspections, reports and remedial work.
• Participation in an On-Call rota.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Full current driving licence.
• Capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good verbal and written communication; ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA).
• Highly self-motivated, solutions-focused, able to work without supervision but also enjoy teamwork.
• Experience in a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
