Position Overview:

The Project Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on the GWR contract. This role requires expertise in electrical work within the rail industry, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including, power distribution, and lighting systems in accordance with GWR specifications.

· Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with relevant standards.

· Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure safety and functionality.

· Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure project timelines are met.

· Adhere to CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations and safety protocols on-site.

· Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.

· Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports on inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

· Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical work and rail systems.
