Location: Birmingham/Midlands\n\nCore Hours: 08:00 – 16:30\n\nAn opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer to join our JLL Workplace Management PAM Team. The area predominantly covered is the Midlands region. The purpose of the role is to operate within the department supporting the Midlands JLL Workplace Management PAM team delivering electrical PPM and associated reactive works across our diverse client portfolio.\n\nThe role will include covering various sites on certain days where we have contractual obligations to provide full-day site coverage, ensuring seamless service delivery to our clients.\n\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\n\n• Ensure that JLL Workplace Management efficiently meets all relevant KPI & SLA requirements across assigned locations\n\n• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive works as required both during normal hours and out-of-hours (standard working hours 08:00 – 17:00)\n\n• Work collaboratively as part of the JLL team, utilizing multi-skilled capabilities as required\n\n• Procure materials in coordination with the Contract Delivery Manager, following JLL procurement procedures\n\n• Be available to attend or manage critical call-outs and provide comprehensive written incident reports including preparation of quotations for remedial works\n\n• Ensure annual PAT testing of tools and equipment are maintained up to date in accordance with JLL standards\n\n• Carry out engineering works as directed by the Contract Delivery Manager and site management teams\n\n• Assist in production of quotations as required for Managers across JLL Workplace Management\n\n• Produce Test and Commissioning Certificates in compliance with current regulations and JLL quality standards\n\n• Oversee and complete PPM works with accurate reporting through JLL systems\n\n• Maintain accurate records on CAFM systems and complete all documentation in accordance with JLL procedures\n\n• Provide technical support and expertise to site-based teams and clients as required\n\n• Participate in emergency response procedures and business continuity planning\n\n• Ensure compliance with all JLL Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures\n\n• Support training and development of junior engineers and apprentices\n\nEssential Skills & Qualifications:\n\n• Apprenticeship/ City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (Essential)\n\n• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (Essential)\n\n• Good knowledge of electrical services and current regulations\n\n• Sound level of administration and organizational skills\n\n• Proven practical experience within the electrical industry (minimum 3 years)\n\n• Ability to develop understanding of clients' business requirements\n\n• Initiative and proactive approach to all tasks undertaken\n\n• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail\n\n• Conscientious and reliable work ethic\n\n• Team player with collaborative approach\n\n• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n\n• Commitment to providing high-quality service and flexibility to work as required\n\n• Willingness to work overtime when business needs require\n\n• Sound knowledge of computer software and mobile technology\n\n• Experience working in commercial settings\n\n• Full UK Driving License (Essential)\n\nDesirable Qualifications:\n\n• Electrical Testing & Inspection certification (2391 or equivalent)\n\n• Mechanical engineering experience\n\n• Emergency lighting testing certification\n\n• Fire alarm system knowledge\n\n• First Aid certification\n\n• CSCS Card\n\n• Working at height certification\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join JLL Workplace Management's expanding PAM division, working with prestigious clients across the Midlands region and contributing to our reputation for technical excellence and customer service delivery
