Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer - London

My client is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team in the London area on a permanent position.

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across a variety of mechanical and electrical building systems. This includes diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and policies, particularly those set by Integral and Amazon.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using the site’s CAFM system.
  • Liaise with site management and contractors to minimise disruption to operations.
  • Participate in site audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives on site.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (Electrical discipline) – mandatory.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (mandatory).
  • Commercial LV Electrical experience.
  • PPM experience and fault diagnosis/repair of HVAC systems.
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills; knowledge of lighting and plumbing systems.
  • Experience with CAFM systems for maintenance record-keeping.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and compliance.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with site management and contractors.
  • Participation in site audits and inspections.
  • Commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Software / Tools

  • CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems.

Certifications & Standards

  • NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Discipline).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Health and Safety compliance knowledge.
  • Commercial LV Electrical experience.
  • Full UK Driving license.

Remuneration

This is a permanent position, paying up to 45k.
