Position: Mobile Engineer - Air Conditioning/Electrical Location/Region: Southampton Salary Range: £42,000 - £46,000
RGsetsquare recruitment is working with FM Companies who are responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Responsibility for AC, electrical and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
Inspect, repair, modify equipment including air conditioning compressors, chillers, electrical components and controls
Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of equipment as above and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Install, rebuild, replace, or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment, as necessary.
Qualifications Required
City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent
NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems OR
NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation OR
NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation Service & Maintenance
