We are seeking aMobile Forklift Engineer/Mechanical Handling Field Service Engineerto join our clients team of southern-based engineers, covering postcodes across Croydon and South London. This full-time role will involve maintaining, repairing, servicing, and modifying a range of material handling equipment. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and overhaul material handling products Perform fault-finding and repairs on gas, diesel, and electric-powered forklift trucks Carry out routine maintenance tasks (checking brakes, lifting assembly, steering, oil/filter changes) Preventative maintenance (lubricating steering and lifting equipment) Battery maintenance (voltage and fluid checks using meters and hydrometers) Respond to breakdowns and minimize customer downtime Maintain excellent customer relationships Complete documentation to company standards and liaise with the parts team Work on mobile machinery (brakes, steering, wheels, lift chains, etc.) Troubleshoot and resolve issues wit...
