Position: Mobile Gas Engineer
Location/Region: This is a field based, mobile position covering the Hampshire region.
Postcodes Covered: SO, PO.
Salary Range: £36,234 and is up to £50,000, dependant upon the candidate`s qualifications and experience.
This role is working for a mixture of high street retailers & banks clients for the TS-Mobile division.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas Plant, including fabric & basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract. Ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards and all required paperwork is completed and submitted within timescales. Participate on the On-Call Rota.
  • Monitor visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety; issue appropriate permits, control small work and escort duties as required.
  • Ensure all certification is correctly completed and remedial works clearly identified.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, complete the appropriate paperwork and reports and ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within the required timescales.
  • Maintain a full current driving licence. Demonstrate strong customer care focus, good communication skills and proactive skills. Ability to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults. Complete essential paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • The ideal candidate would be qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines to the role. Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable). Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines to the role (preferred).
  • Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable).
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
