Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) – Full Time

Salary £42k + Company Van (Plus Fuel Card) - Plus Travel time Paid + Flexible Benefits + Plus On Call Allowance (1-6). This is a mobile role based on contracts in Watford WD17 (3 days a week) and Cambridge CB3 (2 days a week), providing PPM and reactive maintenance. A UK driving license is required as a company van is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance relating to Electrical & Mechanical Building Services Plant and Systems in-line with agreed programmes / SLAs to meet Client and statutory compliance.
  • Carry out planned, reactive and small works such as emergency light testing, HVAC PPM, lighting upgrades, and fault diagnosis to building services equipment.
  • Maintain premises to a high standard and ensure site documentation and compliance records for electrical systems are up to date.
  • Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works, ensuring compliance with H&S standards.
  • Work Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 with a Call Out Rota of 1 in 6.

What we’re looking for / Qualifications

  • Electrical Technician with Mechanical knowledge, capable of delivering high-quality building services provision (planned and reactive) in a commercial occupied environment.
  • Current qualifications including NVQ Level 2-3 (Electrical or Mechanical) or City and Guilds equivalent.
  • 18th Edition; C&G 2391 / AM2 would be advantageous.
  • Capable of undertaking remedial and reactive repairs with minimal supervision.
  • IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable).
  • Safe systems of work procedures – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable).
  • L8 Training (Desirable).
