CHEP is known for its pallets; our plants repair, respray and clean our pallet pool to allow them to be reused. This role will play a key role supporting maintenance of our on-site customer solutions for customers who have high volumes. Were looking for an electrically qualified maintenance engineer, who can be mobile to support multiple sites; including, Dagenham, Thurrock and Sittingbourne.

Youll manage your own diary & time and have access to a company van and tools. The job will be to carry out PPM and remedial work at site, coordinating time with the Plants directly and working as part of the wider On-Site-Solutions team.

Key responsibilities Manage planned work requirements and contractors as part of the maintenance intervention activities (preventive or corrective). Identify, report and resolve health and safety concerns with the equipment and building services. Ensure breakdowns of equipment are rectified in a safe and efficient manner.
