Globally we employ over 70,000 employees and operate in 48 countries.Role summaryAs a CBRE Multi-Skilled Engineer you will utilise your advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, you\'ll monitor building system operations and performance. Utilising several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.ResponsibilitiesEnsure routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreementsEnsure that all relevant e-Logbooks, Service records, and safety documentation is compiled and recorded to ensure that the site is compliant at all timesTake ownership of all sites within your patch, and associated client relationshipsDevelop a full understanding of sites containing AsbestosEnsure that engineering supplies/spares stock levels are maintained and/or ordered in a timely manner and are appropriate to the maintenance / reactive task being carried out to aid SLA targets for works completionRespond to reactive mechanical, electric, plumbing and fabric repairs in accordance with SLA’sMaintain domestic water systems to comply with the requirements with L8Carry out small plumbing installations and repairsSupervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance, ensuring company processes and procedures are followed where this appliesIssue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systemsEnsure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processesWork OOH (by agreement) to assist in the supervision of specialist maintenance and ad-hoc activities – for which you will be paid at the overtime rateEnsure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practicesEnsure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as requiredEnsure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learningTo adhere to the local uniform requirements and comply with all PPE requirements, as outlined in the site-specific risk assessmentsProactively complete building inspections, reporting and rectifying any defects and hazards as appropriateEnsure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is always delivered and promoted, in line with Company RISE valuesTo proactively communicate, both verbally and electronically, in order to receive instruction and provide feedback where necessary - this includes daily checking of individual email accountsLiaising with client on a variety of matters and attending to their needs whilst maintaining a strong working relationshipTo develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE and Client teamReport to the Facilities / Contract Manager on a daily/weekly basis, highlighting works outstandingActively identify innovation to enhance performance and continue to meet client expectations.Experience requiredStrong proven experience in Facilities Management and at least 3 years’ experience of operating within a high-profile environmentExcellent customer service orientationGood understanding of customer complaint handlingAble to deal with people at all levels both within CBRE and the client organisationAble to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlinesAbility to work on own initiativeService orientated attitude with a flair for pro-active problem solving to exceed customers’ expectationsStrong team player within a customer service team environmentLiteracy with Microsoft Outlook email, Word /Excel to intermediate levelFluent in English, both verbal and writtenRole detailsService line: GWSSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
