Urgent Contract Role – Modelling and Simulation Engineer (Automotive)
 
This is a 24-month contract inside IR35 with a competitive day rate.
 
A government organisation is seeking an experienced engineer to assess simulated evidence for vehicle system certification. The role involves validating modelling tools and supporting compliance with international regulations for Advanced Driver Assistance and Automated Driving Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead assessments of simulated evidence for type approval
  • Perform credibility evaluations of simulation models
  • Manage technical work and mentor team members

    • Requirements:
  • Experience in modelling and simulation in the automotive sector is essential
  • Vehicle control systems knowledge would be highly desirable
  • Support auditing processes
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

    • Additional Information:
  • Location: Based in Bristol or Nuneaton with three days onsite per week.
  • BPSS clearance required.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
