Job Title: Modelling and Simulation Engineer

Location: Nuneaton or Bristol (3 days/week on site)

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Daily Rate: £400/day (Umbrella – Maximum)

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Minimum Requirement:

Modelling and simulation in an automotive industry Auditing Experience Experience in vehicle control systems Duties include, but are not limited to;

Lead on the assessment simulated evidence use for the type approval of ADAS / ADS to ensure compliance with regulations. Perform credibility assessments to ensure manufacturer claims of effective processes and that models are robust. Determine compliance from the outcome of credibility and vehicle assessments. Support the wider Agency in the assessment of simulated evidence for other type approval subjects. Collaborate with the client managers to ensure effective delivery of type approvals. Oversee the work of engineers involved in type approval activities to ensure the highest standards are maintained through the type approval process. Ensure consistency in the Type Approval process by following, establishing and maintain internal guidelines and procedures, while adhering to Agency held accreditations.
