OverviewWe are looking for a full time Multi-Skilled Engineer (AC/ Electrical) to join our growing team of service engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial clients in the Dundee area.This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence. Out-of-hours maintenance may be required, including early starts, late finishes, and night work.On Call: 24-hour on-call rota with a maximum 1 week in 4 (Friday-Thursday) – currently 1 in 6.Skills, Experience & QualificationsEssential:Experience within the FM industry supporting commercial properties with reactive and planned maintenance activitiesFgas Level 2 Cat 1 qualificationExperience working on a range of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration equipment including VRVs, VRFs, Splits and ChillersWorking knowledge of Building Regulations18th Edition ElectricalElectrically competentBuilding Environmental and Electrical Services including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning within the building services industrySound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations regarding maintenance activitiesBasic plumbing and building material skills/knowledgeAsbestos AwarenessFull UK driving licenceDesirable:CSCS cardIPAF & PASMAPart P Electrical certificateResponsibilitiesUndertaking all aspects of air conditioning service and maintenance. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with Thermatic’s PPM and task schedules as directed by the Help Desk and/or management teamProviding accurate timesheet information to designated timeframesCarrying out basic facilities maintenance tasks as requiredSupporting team members including acting as second-man where requiredParticipating in a 24-hour call-out rotaSupporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired timeframeSupporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representatives and customers of our clientsAssisting office-based staff with quotations by providing accurate and high-quality information and sourcing supplier quotations where extra works are identifiedProducing technical and situational reports as requiredEscalating any major site issues or incidents via the appropriate channel and within acceptable timeframesOur PeopleWe’re a business built on people and it’s the people that make us different from other companies.
