This is an exciting time to join as a Multi-Skilled Engineer. In this critical role, you'll ensure equipment runs efficiently, respond quickly to breakdowns, and drive continuous improvements that enhance performance across the site.

12-hour shifts, 4 on, 4 off (4 days, 4 nights)

05:00-15:00 and 16:30-00:30

Key Responsibilities
\n
As part of the Engineering Shift Team, you will:
\n
\n
Respond to line breakdowns urgency and in a timely manner with the aim of minimising line downtime.
\n
Respond to engineering and facility queries raised by departments
\n
Comply with site policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
\n
Ensure Site and Departmental KPI targets are met.
\n
Maintain engineering workshop, toolboxes, spares etc in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
\n
Ensure PPM's are undertaken in line with OEE recommendations.
\n
Involvement with Continuous Improvement initiatives as may be required.
\n
Adopt a continuous learning approach to work to ensure you skill match the role and site requirements
\n
Work with colleagues from all functions in the organisation in a co-operative and positive manner.
\n
Work in line with the company Behaviours (ADART)
\n
Adopt a flexible approach to work which might result in providing cover for colleagues when absent due to sickness / holidays etc.
\n
Any other tasks which might be required from time to time and for which you are suitably qualified.
\n
Provide a excellent and efficient customer service to the site teams
\n
Work as a whole engineering function
\n

About You
\n
\n
Apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in both mechanical and electrical disciplines
\n
Minimum three years' experience post-qualification, ideally in FMCG or food manufacturing
\n
Skilled in fault finding, repair, and problem solving under pressure
\n
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methods (Six Sigma, 5S, Lean)
\n
17th Edition Electrical Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
\n
A flexible, proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork
\n
