Role Overview:

Handle repair and maintenance jobs across various areas of specialisation including plumbing, electric, and carpentry. The individual will also be tasked with carrying out pre-planned maintenance and reactive repairs, as well as engaging in productive communication with clients.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You'll be working across a variety of environments and must be comfortable adapting to different settings and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and safety checks on gas appliances and systems in residential/domestic properties across the region Respond to emergency call outs and perform reactive repairs on boilers, heating systems and relevant gas equipment Diagnose faults and carry out effective and timely repairs Complete all work to a high standard while ensuring compliance with current gas safety legislation and company procedures, operating with the highest regard for safety always Identify and report any additional works or safety issues escalating to the office/client Deliver high level customer care, dealing with clients and tenants to meet/exceed quality standards Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually Maintain tools, equipment and stock to ensure relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements

Skills & Experience

Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential) NVQ level 3 in electrical installations, or equivalent (essential) or are we looking for some with basic electrical experience Valid UK driving licence (essential) Previous practical experience in gas and electrical maintenance across both domestic and commercial environments Solid understanding of gas/electrical safety regulations and industry standards Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
