Multi skilled engineer

43K Mon-Fri 8-5 40 hours per week

The suitable candidate will be required to demonstrate:

* A strong multi-skilled engineering background, experienced and qualified in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

* The ability to carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment.

* Possess excellent diagnostic skills to diagnose the causes and rectification of breakdowns.

Skills/qualifications:

* Ideally qualified to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and working within an industrial environment.

* General mechanical/maintenance skills; including welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, replacing bearings, transmission systems including pulleys and belts.

* PLC and Inverter knowledge.

* Good computer literacy skills.

* Good communication skills, liaising with client departments.

Expected duties to be carried out on site:

* Working within the Engineering Department to carry out regular servicing and maintenance of thermal processing equipment.

* Respond to breakdowns to evaluate and rectify plant issues.

* Complete required documentation for the Engineering System.

* Follow predefined procedures to ensure continued safe/efficient operation of all equipment.

* Carry out required training to confidently complete tasks for maintenance activities.

* Ensure designated tasks are completed within the scheduled time.
