As part of their continued investment in quality, safety, and efficiency, we are looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Part-Time Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the maintenance team.
Role Overview
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring both mechanical and electrical skills in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on a range of food manufacturing equipment
Respond to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
Conduct fault-finding and root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence
Support with installation and commissioning of new machinery
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Work collaboratively with production teams to support operational targets
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a similar maintenance/engineering role
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
