    Job Description

    As the Multi Skilled Engineer your responsibilities will be as follows -

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
  • Support on the maintenance of blow mould, packaging and bottling equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimise machinery performance.
  • Document maintenance activities and update records accurately.
  • Participate in projects to improve processes and equipment reliability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues when required.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have:

  • Strong expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering within an FMCG environment.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or time served apprenticeship.
  • Proficiency in fault-finding and problem-solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • A proactive approach to improving equipment and processes.
