Multi Skilled Engineer - Bishop's Stortford - £46,000
Multi Skilled Engineer's Key Responsibilities: Deliver hands-on maintenance and repair support to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. Diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure consistent output. Work proactively with production teams to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures. Contribute to improvement projects focused on boosting equipment reliability, productivity, and process efficiency. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene across all engineering activities. Skills & Experience Required as a Multi-Skilled Engineer: A recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline. Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment within a manufacturing or factory environment. A continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing efficiency gains. Flexibility to work shifts within a 24/7 production facility. The shift pattern is a combination of early (0600-1400) and late shifts (1330 -2130) This role would be suitable for a Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician, PPM Engineer or Breakdown Engineer looking for a new opportunity in Hertfordshire.
